I have a lil story to tell.
When I was a little boy growing up in rural Long Island, my family visited the Bronx Zoo in the Bronx, a very, very special, one of those once-in-a-year events in our family, y’know, like going to a restaurant. We’d traipse out from Medford to the big city, this is all in black and white, IIRC. Anyway, a day filled with lions and tigers and bears, in black-and-white New York City.
New York City didn’t get color until the 1965 World’s Fair. But at least it wasn’t all fast and herky-jerky like in 1899, haha. I digress.
So, no shit, there we were, walking through The Bronx Zoo in the Bronx, when we get to the primates section. Apparently, you have to segregate the species in a zoo. The Zoo planner who puts the cockatiel next to the mongoose have short zoo career.
The family arrives at the Orangutan cage, next to the chimpanzees (smart!), and what do we see:
- one orangutan dancing, jumping, basically doing an Al Jolson impression so help me, making sure All Eyes are on HIM!
- four orangutans in the back studying the lock on the door to outside like four nuclear physicists intent on breaking out
* Trump is the one orangutan
* Koch and investors are the nuklear fizzicysts
That’s a story that isn’t inspired by real events, not even based on real events. That shit happened.
